Astrophysicist by day, musician by night; Catherine Allin is a singer-songwriter, and independent recording artist, based in London (UK). Her compositions are an eclectic blend of electronica-indie-folk. Sounds like Jeff Buckley came back to life, joined Radiohead, and then went and had a sex change.
Catherine is also a dynamic live performer, creating rich soundscapes of voice and guitar using a loop pedal.

Live video shoot at The Rattle, London released January 2022
After a year of touring around the country in 2019 with my chunky red looping pedal, I wanted to have a record of that show. The production was directed by Alice Frick, with Melissa Troiani on video and gaffer for the shoot and editing after. Live sound engineering was thanks to Morgan Bosc of The Rattle London. The production and sound mixing and mastering, and obviously the performance was by Catherine Allin.
